Lemon Juice Body Scrub and Face Mask to Reveal New Skin

Lemon juice body scrub and face mask

Very few products bring immediate results as exfoliants do. When exfoliating the skin, we remove all the dead skin cells that have accumulated and have given a dull looking appearance and withered looking skin. With a Lemon juice body scrub you can achieve satisfying results.

By removing all the dead skin, we reveal a new skin. Immediately our skin looks healthier, smoother and even nicely toned too.

The recipes I bring you today are divided into two parts; the first part for the body, and the second for the face. As Lemon can be a bit irritating on the skin you have to be careful when using, as it can irritate your skin further; giving rise to acne breakouts and the like.

For this recipe we will take the exfoliation properties of lemon. Lemon is a very good fruit to promote healthy skin. Besides its uplifting aroma, it also makes us feel more energetic.

Invigorating Lemon juice body scrub and face mask

First let’s see the recipe for the Lemon juice body scrub. Lemon citric acid helps lighten dark spots on the skin and sugar helps remove dead skin cells. This scrub is particularly ideal for the skin of the elbows and knees.

Lemon juice body scrub

  • 5 tablespoons of sugar or sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 lemon

How to use:

First, mix the olive oil with the sugar or sea salt (whichever you prefer). Then, cut a lemon in half and squeeze the Lemon juice into the mixture and mix slowly until a paste is formed. You can apply this when you are taking a bath. With wet skin, you should rub the skin with the exfoliation body scrub in circular motions for a few minutes or until the skin looks pink.

Do not rub too hard, just hard enough to remove all the dirt. However, not so hard that you will irritate the skin.

The skin should only be exfoliated at the most, 3 times per week, no more. As Lemon can irritate a sensitive skin.
